World Arthritis Day – Joint Health for allCME Programme conducted by Sree Abirami College of Physiotherapy

This important day was marked with a CME Programme at SREE ABIRAMI INSTITUTIONS that not only shed light on the various aspects of arthritis but also demonstrated the dedication and knowledge of our students. Distinguished Chief Guests, Dr. P. Balamurugan, MBBS, MS (Ortho), Director, SAH, and Dr. T. Velmurugan, MBBS, DNB (Ortho), SAH, brought their wealth of knowledge and expertise to the occasion. The day began with a soul-stirring prayer, setting the tone for hope and healing. Mrs. L. Asha Shanthi, MPT (Ortho), Associate Professor, SACOPT extended a warm welcome, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to World Arthritis Day.

Honoring the esteemed guests with bouquets by Dr. R. Jayabharathi, MPT (Ortho), Ph.D., Principal of Sree Abirami College of Physiotherapy, the event then delved into enlightening clinical and surgical lectures by Dr. P. Balamurugan sir and Dr. T. Velmurugan sir respectively. Interactive sessions provided a platform for questions and deeper understanding.

The day recognized active participants with a prize distribution ceremony for the poster presentation on the topic Physiotherapist perspective on Arthritis guided by Prof. S. Guhan, MPT(Neuro) Vice principal of SACOPT, and Mrs . R. Jaisri, MPT (Ortho), Assistant Professor, SACOPT.
